i did the mod, and i have read that you should not reinstall with the mod done, should i get rid of the mod, or will i be safe doing the reinstall with the mod? thanks.

You mean windows xp, right? I reinstalled windows after the mod with things cranked all the way up (against prevailing belief) and it went routinely. Was I just lucky?
What's the rationale behind "not" reinstalling with the mod?

All it does is defualt your chip to 1.850v You can always back it down to stock in teh BIOS if need be.

i wish it were that easy, it only has default, +.05, +.10, and +.15% in the bios.{PMS}fishy said:

Oh Im comparing this to a Celeron 1.2A on an ST6 I can go down to 1.2v or something low like that.
