Networking Problem

I have a network setup with 2 computers on a DSL line using RASPPPOE. I had Computer #1 hosting the internet and sharing it with computer #2.

I had to install a new motherboard on computer #2 and reformat. Since then I have had trouble setting up the network again. When I run the network wizard it does not find the internet connection on computer #2 like it had before. Now I switched the hosting to computer #2 and it worked just fine, but I need computer #1 to be the host.

I am running win XP and using a netgear switch.

Hot diggety damn... I am having exactly the same problem, but from a different cause!

What was your cause? I cant figure out what the problem is.

My cause was switching the computers round, see my thread - "Network gone belly up! HELP!"
