Xp 1700+ @ 75c

??? I have A7V266-E Mb. And Xp1700+ with Cooler Master DP5-7h53f-OC. Room temp is 30-35C. It was @1594 MHZ before and stable. Then when I saw Sisoftsandra CPU Info it said 80C. After this I turn to 1477MHz and I m using for 3 days its stable but its 60C idle 70-75C Loaded. (Sorry for my English )

I may be wrong about this but I don't think Coolermaster has a single good (high-performance) heatsink. At least all I've seen from them is cheapies.

Your room temp there is very high, so that doesn't help things.

I don't know whether those temps are socket or diode, but either way they're very high... borderline dangerous in my opinion.

If I were you I'd check into getting a better heatsink... that will probably solve your problem.

I thinked about buying a new cooler.

http://www.coolermaster.com.hk/en/pr...r/hhc-001.html

This cooler is 40$.

There is no Volcano or .... coolers in Turkey.

There is writeen that it reduces the temp 10-15 than normal coolers so 85-15=70C I have ? ??

Or my cpu is damaged ? (I tested with sisoft sandra and i got the same points that I got before.)

Ilk,
If your CPU was damaged you wouldn't be able to get your rig to post or anything. If there is any possibility that you could get a thermalright AX7, you should. This hsf dropped my temps 20c and I already had a pretty good hsf.
If you cannot find thermalright try to get one that you can put an 80mm x 80mm fan on it. Could someone ship you a good one from the US, Europe? I am not sure how customs work in Turkey. Too bad though I have a friend of my in Turkey right now, He could have brought it to you!

I'm sure that your problem could be just a heatsink that wasn't mounted properly or a lack of thermal paste
You should recheck that the heatsink is mounted as it should be, and the CPU has thermal paste on it, the thermal paste that we all recommend and most of us (not me tho ) use is the Artic Silver 2 or 3 (AS2 or AS3) its considered to be the best compound out right now. Using such a fast and HOT CPU w/o a thermal compound could have those results, also getting a new heatsink is a good option as well. The heatpipe is in no way the best heatsink out but it should be better than the stock heatsink anyway. Also check to see if the fan on the heatsink spins normally. DO NOT use the thermal pad that comes with heatsinks always better use a compound.
