Quick question, If you have say a 333fsb MB and are running a 100fsb CPU, is it possible it overclock the cpu more than if you were running it on a 100fsb MB?
Example: I have a 1GHz Athlon TBird and I am using an Abit KT7A-R MB (133MHz). I am running my TBird at 133x10 right now very stable without unlocking the cpu. If I go higher than 10.5 it doesn't boot, and if I go higher than 133 it doesn't register the change but it boots. Now, If I switched to say an AT7 (333)(w/512mb 333DDR) do you think I could push the FSB up higher than with what I have without unlocking it?
I am using a Volcano6 hsf, and have 4 fans(2in/2out) + psu fan.
Running 512mb PC133 Micron.
Is that really a quick question? hehe
Jeff.
