Angry BD7RAID error code 26

I'm stuck having to use my old PCI video card because if I put my Gainward MX650Pro AGP in... the motherboard beeps one long and then 2 short at error code 26. I've flashed the latest BIOS (manytimes) and still no help. The mb would and has booted fine about 25% of the time but it gets real annoying fast! When it does boot past 26 the AGP card works great. I RMAed my BD7RAID thinking it was bad and the new one came back with the same problem. I've sent the Gainward back to newegg.com and I am waiting on a reply from ABIT 'cause I asked them if their "ABIT" GF4 MX PRO would give me the same problem. (Both the Gainward and ABit card are basically identical, both using the nvidia 460gpu) I'd hate to buy it and ABit says it is incompatible which would just be crazy to have a manufacturer have issues with their own stuff.

Anyone see this problem or do you think the AGP card was bad. Unfortuatley I didn't have a second computer to test it in.

With the TH7II, code 26 pointed to the so-called cold boot problem. Are you overclocking your system? If so, are you also getting this code when running at stock speed?

If this problem occurs when you overclock, upgrade to the latest official Abit BIOS which solves this "cold boot issue" (CBI).

Hope this helps.

Merkor/CSHawkeye81, the good man says he flashed to the lates BIOS several times It indeed sounds like the Cold Boot Issue, but if steviee7 really flashed to the latest BIOS, this doesn't seem very likely. Also, the CBI doesn't occur at stock speed. So two questions for steviee7:

-What is the latest BIOS you flashed to?
-Does the error also occur at stock speed?

Add. If overclocked, did you lock the AGP/PCI divider?

latest bios I've had was 7B and I've even had MrN's latest and greatest. It is not oc'ed yet but I have a feeling the video card might have been bad. When the motherboard boots (after about 10 tries) the video card works fine. It just get's annoying to have to hit the reset button over and over again just to boot right. esp. since the mb is not oc'ed!!!
The computer seems to always beep on or at code 26.
I'm really getting sick of this...
