GAINWARD or Chaintech

Which video card should I buy- GAINWARD/CARDEXPERT GeForce 4 Ti 4200, 4ns, 128MB DDR, Power Pack Golden Sample or Chaintech Geforce4 4200 "GT21" Special Edition VIVO?

http://www.gainward.com/c-1.html?id=18

http://www.chaintechusa.com/products/VGA/index.htm#GT41

Also, about the VIVO (Video-In and Video-Out), can I use composite video cable to connect my VCR to my computer to watch video tape with sound?

out of those... there is no question... gainward definately. chaintech just hasn't done as well. gainward has been the top manufacturer for quite a while. the gap has been narrowed but i still think they are top of the line.

I'm not sure about the VIVO thing.(never tried it) But I agree with Maxvla, the Gainward is by far the better choice. Great overclocks on those cards.

Why not MSI? I think the MSI is cheaper and a good o/c´er also!

I love my Gainward, its not the gf4 line, but the gf3ti200. It's been unbelieveably overclockable, so I say go with the gainward. They really do seem to be the pinnicle of quality in Nvidia cards.

Also, about chaintech, I have had only one expirience with their cards-my geforce2 pro. It was a great card, actually. It oc'ed far higher than a lot of the ultras around at the time. Probably a fluke though, I have never heard chaintech as a brand for quality so much as budget.

I like my chaintech, at stock speeds I got 11700+ 3Dmark. So far its been a quality card. But the only reason I bought it was it was a refurb and I couldnt pass it up for 189.00 shipped. If I would have had to pay full price I would have probally went with Leadtek, Gainward, or Abit.
