Official GeForce2 MX 400 War thread!

Alright, maybe not a war, but how about a little friendly competetion!

Post your scores here so that we can see your score, and try to put a screenshot if possible.

And a little info on your system wouldnt hurt either!

I'll start it off with a recent test I just ran.

Core - 240
Mem - 240

System was @ 1.54

i just got 3390 but i can't post a link cuz the server is doing some matinance. i'll edit this and add a link when it's back online, soon i hope. i'm on a roll.

GPU@225
RAM@184
not a suicide score but the ram is at the limit maybe later i'll have a few and push it a little more but i'm going to clock the core higher and up the FSB from 141 to ??? after i get this score posted.

EDIT: how much longer is it going to be down? i'm losing good tweaking time here

Nice score Gandalf. With my GeForce MX400, I only got like 2K. . . It was powered by a P3 Katmai 500mhz! Hehe then it was dead from a newbie applying AS.

i decided to just try and get a higher score without posting my last one, big mistake.
i can't get my FSB above 141Mhz (i know it's not the processor) i get a windows error. and my video card is maxed out at 230/184 stable and i got 3330 3dmarks. i should have just waited for the server to be back online.

Hmmm, what is your multiplier at?

I usually drop my multiplier down .5 and then up the fsb, seems to work well.......

And make sure all programs that run n the background are turned off.

the multiplier is 10.5, it's not unlocked yet. and the only thing running in the background is my firewall.
now that i think about it, i couldn't get over 141FSB with my duron either. i'll try to get it higher by taking the crappy 128MB stick of ram out and only use the 256 of samsung. that might help, right?

WHOO HOO! i'm running 142FSB. that ram sucks @ss. my next post will be a higher 3DMark score!

I did the same thing to a Voodoo 3. I didn't know getting AS all over the traces would make the card burn up. lol!

Well, if you think it has the power to compete with the big boys, then go ahead!

See if you can beat any of the mx400's, should be a good goal for yah.

cant post a screenshot (too lazy) but my best score is 2759. I aint techno savvy enough to bump up my FSB speed or I think it could be better.

core 220
mem 178

I thought my speeds are whats listed in the sig, but I was told that is probably double the memory speed because NVmax is designed for DDR cards, and you guys with much better scores have your mem much lower,. Soooo I guess its 178 not 356 as NVmax reads on the slider.

i can't get any higher then 3390, that sucks. i'm running a 145Mhz FSB and the score got lower, 3289 i think.
i can go higher on the FSB i think but it don't appear to be helping. i'll try to get 3390 again to make it "official" (the site was down, remember?)

3dmark is such a piece of... i'm running at 1148mhz and 255/210 and it keeps knocking me out of the program. its a buggy little thing isn't it...

i can play UT or quake 3 for hours on these settings... even wolfenstein. so i know its stable.

so far i haven't even been able to finish a bench yet. this software sucks.

edit - under load my cpu is running at 42 degrees overclocked 7.5x150
