A friend gave me his rheobus to use on my external watercooling setup. Since I don't have a power supply to power the sytem, I was planning on getting a 12v AC power adapter and put a female molex connector and plug in to the rheobus. Do I need the 5v line to power the LED's?

What do you mean you don't have a powersupply?

.... and no I don't think you need a 5v to power the LED's

I don't have a power supply to power my watercooling system since it's outside of the comptuer case. Therefore everything is going to be AC instead of DC. I was thinking on getting an AC/DC power adapter and plugging it in to the rheobus so I can use 4 DC fans.

if the watercooling system inst too far away from your computer, just get a long cable :D
