i just built a intel d845gbv mobo with a2.2gee .this board has its own onboard sound.when we loaded the sound driver we got noise over the speakers(or headphones ).the rep said it was the powersupply so i got a enermax 350 with potspeed control.now the noise is only present when i am not using the cd-rw,or the tray is open/empty.i`m assuming now the cd-rw is compensating but what the *** is the problem?if the speed controler is near its highest setting the noise is reduced slightly.also heve not put in case fans cause they seam to agrivate the situation.i`m sure (hope) this something simple.any suggestions,please?
