HELP ME PLEASE with my new XP2200

Ok yeah I'm a newbie but we all were at once anyhow I just got my new XP2200 I have an ASUS A7V266-E MOBO when I installed the XP2200 nothing happend nothing at all not even the monitor came on I flashed my bios to the newest version AE1010 and still nothing no monitor no cmos nothing not even a beep the sys turns on but thats it just turns on anyone here know what I have to do or do you think the chip might be bad.
