Is there a way to close a laptop lid and it not shutting down? Or is that just old systems?

I have been eyeing a few old laptops. mPIII-600s with 98SE, I believe. 2 or 3'd do just nicely to my Folding/Crunching farm,(I can't choose, so why should I?)

dud dont get a few laptops to just fold with you can build a much better folder for the same price

all you need is one laptop, and if you one get it for a reason, bc otherwise its a waste of money and they **** you off bc you cant upgrade them
