Hercules 8500LE or Retail 8500LE?

I managed to convince my gf's brother to purchase a retail 8500LE 128mb ram about 3 weeks ago for $150 and warned him that price may drop because of the 9700 due out soon.

Saw an ad today, Hercules 8500LE 128mb for $99 which is 50 bucks less.
Debating whether to tell him to return the card and save $50.

Are Hercules brand just as good? I'm assuming exact same card just different brand??

Please advise.
He is very satisfied with his 8500LE.
