5 pounds is like 5 US dollars right??? Although I'm pretty confident the "cheap" (and I mean pricewise not quality wise!)Crucial ram will hit 150mhz, the added peace of mind of guaranteed 150mhz CL2 speed I believe is worth it. And between the Corsair PC150CL2 and the Crucial PC133 tested at PC150 I'd choose the Corsair because:
1) it's half a pound less (I'm cheap what do you want!)
2) the PC150 guarantee comes from the manufacturer (which trust me is has a very good reputation and awesome service), not some small reseller you might have problems with if the Ram doesn't perform as expected.

Are you sure what's holding you back is your ram though??? What proofs of this (if any) do you have??? Maybe the bottleneck lies elsewhere and you'd be wasting your money...

I agree, go with Corsair.
Even the PC133 modules of Corsair were able to run @ 148MHz CL2 (Not all of them, but most modules with 7E chips did).

BTW: Tamasha_Strife £1=$1,54
*EDIT* He said he needs more ram, he didn't say it was holding him back.

Ahhh sorry, I was looking at his sig and saw he was running 149mhz FSB so I thought he was getting new RAM to break 150mhz

You might want to E-mail Corsair and ask them if their PC150CL2 is rated 222 or 233. If it's rated 222 then it means its the very same stuff as the Mushkin Rev3. I wouldn't bother with the Mushkin Rev2, its PC133 SDRAM and you want 150mhz guaranteed. Also dont get 2 sticks of 128mb because multiple sticks can reduce performance.
Either go with:
256 mb Corsair PC-150CL2 (after checking its 222 and not 233)
or
256 mb Muskin High Perf. Rev3

Both come from extremely reputable companies with great support and a lifetime warranty. If needed a PC150CL2 stick for my comp, Id pick one of those two.

PS: about the Corsair RAM, they used to have the 222 or 233 in their spec sheet but it mysteriously disapeared I liked their old spec sheet better where they said "This stick was tested on this mobo and that mobo" and everything.

MMMM there are 2 different types of Mushkin rev3, there's just rev 3 (Which I use...and is guaranteed to run @ 150 2-2-2...which it does) and there's rev3+ also guaranteed to run @ 150 2-2-2...BUT it comes with a heatspreader.

If you have some money to spend I would get the Mushkin, not because I'm using it, just because it'll probably do 160MHz 2-2-2....but I must admit the Corsair is a bit faster (Probably Less than 0.1%), but I'm not sure if it'll do 160 2-2-2.

You might take a look at some generic modules that use Infineon chips, they're a lot cheaper and run like hell (Mushkin uses them, although they're hand picked).

If you want me to I'll dig up some specs bout the Infineon chips.

I know this is offtopic, and probably out of your budget, but in this particular case, IMHO it would be worth it to save up a bit and buy a relatively cheap kt266a board and some crucial pc2100, which should be able to do the 150 fsb. SDRAM is simply not worth it
