wierd OC probs

i tried OC'ing my card to 270/500.. and when i run 3dmark 2001 SE, after a few tests, the screen goes blank, and the computer restarts. wtf? maybe its some bios settings? i have seen in the review for my card they got it up to 300/550 stable on stock cooling...

Has you done any burn in on the card? I had that sameproblem when I first got my GeForce3 in my signature.

umm i had it for a week or so and ive been playing counter-strike UT 2k3 beta off and on, but not for really long periods of time.. do i need to burn a GPU in?

I along with many others here have noticed that if you do some really intense burn ins it makes a world of difference. Ipersonally ran SiSoft's burn in for an hour a day for a week and went from 175/400 to 220/500.
