about a reference point for a Water Pump's GPH rating. Would anyone with a flow meter want to try testing a garden hose at full power? Seems the most logical IMHO :) :D :D
 
well... It depends... Some hoses will run way faster than others, depending on how close you are to a water tower... but it would still be a good comparison.
 
Not to mention that there are different diameter hoses and then there is water pressure to consider, I can adjust mine at my house but at a certain point 90-100 PSI You run the risk of blowing pipes...
