and the screws I got with the heatsink is not long enough so I cant attach the fan to the heatsink, is there another way to attach the fan to the heatsink? or should I just get new screws?

just go get some new screws, you can pick them up at Home Depot for like .15cents a peice.

man. thats cheap. .15 cents a screw. That means you could buy like 6 screws for 1 cent. Thats like... 625 screws for a dollar.

yeah but thats homedepot.com....and shipping on those special scews are around $1 per screw heheh oh you didnt read the fine print? hhehheh ohwell i think we can interpret that price as 15 cents instead. Just make sure the screws are not to long as you will have to cut them~grind them down or such and that can be a pain.
