headphone dilema

alright, well i got some headphones, because i hear it makes CS alot easier...so i go to plug them in (computer is still on) and as soon as i plug it in, the computer freezes..totally...i can restart, and its fine...but it does it every time...any ideas?

maybe static build up??

had the same problem its with my sb live

try plugging them in and then booting up....

And do u have the lastest Sound Card Drivers?
