More pressure for the AX 478

After reading the article on the Home page of Overclockers, I wondered if placing a small piece of popcicle stick under the bottom of the V part of the clamp would help the contact of my heatsink to my P4 1.6a? I'm sure this could break the black clamp holder on the the TH7 II if your not careful, but just curious if anyone has tried this with any postive results.

Does the article say that the stock clips don't have adequate pressure??, I gotta read that article if so, is it on the front page with the ax-478 reviews?

No the article just go me thinking about the contact of my heatsink. It didn't specifically mention the AX 478.

Well I guess I'll give it a shot tonight, and see for myself. Wish me luck.

I really don't think this is at all necessary. The Ax-478 is a great heatsink and no extra pressure will be needed.

Its one of the easiest heatsinks to affix and remove
