well done to everyone.

i'd like to see you try to be the first to 2 million.
jeez, imagine the battle between [H], OCAU and OC.com for 2 million points.

good for the ego, to who gets there first and great for the cause, no matter who gets there first.

All we need to do is put our heads down scrape our feet and charge that wall. And don't be a wimp about it.

you should really promote people fold 24/7. (if you don't already that is)

the difference it makes folding 24/7 compared to turning your machines off at night is amazing.
get anything you have to fold. even a p200 would be good for a few points per week. that might not sound like much, but you get half of your active members to put in an extra two ppw each and that amounts to an extra 300 ppw for the team. or there abouts.
every point counts.

i'm sure in a forum such as this there must be hundreds of old pentiums sitting around doing nothing.

500k!

That does sound like an accomplishment! I joined just before we hit 300k and only wish I could've been involved from the start.

Every rig I touch folds... except my work computer b/c its too slow and the goverment would prosecute me for misuse of the equipment. Recruit your friends, family, and neighbors! Go to the schools you attend/once attended and bring up it to the computer guys and science teachers. Become ambassadors of the Folding!! We can catch the top 2 teams if we bear down and really push for it. Our team has ramped up more than 100% since I started folding last April, so let's pick up another 100% by the end of the year!!

Keep folding non-stop everyone!

The only problem I have with folding it paying the electric bill--

Yeah, it doesn't cost much. About $130 a year to run the computer 24/7 - but when you are trying to make ends meet it can be hard.

If only I could use the computer for something while folding - i.e. renting out my rig as a webserver while folding 24/7

Hmmm..

that is a really good idea, make money for letting the rig sit there and fold we really try to get people to fold 24/7 but i know it gets hard when you add more and more rigs. i have 6 of mine sitting in my house and the bill is up there. of course, the biggest relief came when i finally got a kvm switch or the secondary rigs. yeah they have monitors but no sense in making the bill higher if you can get the rigs going 24/7 that would be awesome and the project would greatly benefit from it, but if you can't, no worries, every mhz counts- no matter when it folds!

im sure it is already, when people are doing 6 pointers and dont hand in wu's the thing lowers our output and the estimated score is off, this happens to me all the time, my highest estimated score i have seen lately was in the 700's somewhere now it has dropped like 100pts bc of big wu's it will go back up tho

no biggie. i prefer looktall anyway. i only had OCAU in it to show i am more of an OCAU member than an OC member.
no offence.
