Monitor prob!!

Ok a few minutes ago a black horizontal line appeared on my monitor. I had to reset the PC to get it away. Now i am wondering why did that happen?? Is it because my speakers are near the monitor. And i recently noticed that my speakers are dieing.They give that wierd sound every time i move my mouse or thge roleler on it.

I assume that the monitor came back up OK from your description. If that is so, then we can concentrate on the sound problem. What you describe sounds like an interrupt conflict. Is your sound card plugged into PCI slot 1? If so, it may be conflicting with the AGP video card. Move it to another slot.

Hmm but i newer had such problem i am runing my pc so for over an year but the prob happened today. And my GFX card is PCI and when i changed the speakers it was OK.
