For motherboards that have VIA chipsets (NOT AMD chipsets tho)
They include AGP miniport driver, IRQ drivers, IDE filter drivers...

The slated differences so far are :
1/ Support for the KT 400 chipset which is yet to reach consumers .
2/ AGP 8X
Not much to shout about and unfortunately I suspect no performance improvement for 99.9% of us

Wiggin I'm afraid that the Via drivers won't work on your rig since that Abit board is based on an Intel chipset .

Intel has Ultra ATA drivers whcih they have been updating recently quite often . They are known to give a nice boost in performance . You could chek to see if you have the latest for your board .
