I have a Gigabyte 7DXR, Antec 300W PS, and an Athlon T-bird [email protected]. I was fooling with the multitester yesterday to see if Hoot's 5V mod will benefit me and I think it will. I seem to be getting 4.95V at the molex and 4.8V at the three MOSFETs. Besides, I'm itching to solder something and this PAL 8045 just isn't being worked hard enough. :)

I have two questions: Checking the other three MOSFETs, I got readings of 1.78V. Just out of curiousity, is this the vcore line?
Also, how low the 5V line can go before Bad Things happen?

I'm hoping the mod will allow me to run 1.4 Ghz stable and maybe actually boot at 1.5 Ghz.
