Ok I was just thinking. Would it be a good idea to take the Swifttech MC462 and make a waterblock out of it. Maybe cut the pics down a little and have copper all the way around it. Or would I just be messin up a good heatsink?
 
Personally, I'd get a Gemini waterblock and a pump for what that Swifty cost. Ya never know when you'll be wanting that nice air cooler back again.
'Sides, arent there bolt holes in the base of it? (never seen one up close).
 
I agree with Diggrr. It's a bad idea to burn your bridges, especially when you're going to watercooling. There's never any guarentee that you'll have no problems. If something bad happens, it's nice to have a plan to fall back on.
