AMD Athlon MP

I have been told that MP's are unlocked ... Is this true ??? Also if they are and I cook a retail version overclocking it, will AMD still warranty it ??? Or should I just buy the OEM veversion ??? Thanks for any information !!!

What I would do is get a 2200+. They are now about 150 bucks, which is the price you would pay for an MP. All you have to do is connect ONE bridge. No filling in gaps. Look for it in a sticky. Soooo easy. You would be seeing around 2ghz with that. I think the MPS gaps are just filled in, not unlocked.
