Hello everyone,
So I have a 256 meg stick of Corsair 2700 rated cas 2. I can change my cpu:memory divider, and lower my timings a bit to get the ram to run at 382.5 mhz. Upon using these settings, my computer will not load up on the first boot... it'll hang, with a reset it'll load up no problem. If i'm in windows and I shutdown with a reset, it'll hang, but again if I push the reset button on the case it'll boot up the second time no trouble. Any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks!
tim

By hang do you mean the computer will not boot or the o.s. won't load?
Also what motherboard is it. Wouldn't happen to be a gigabyte would it?

do some memory stress testing to see if ur rams are running stable. it might not do cas2 all that well at those speed. try backing it down to cas 2.5 and see if the solves the problem.
