Okay, Long story. First off I have a 512 MB stick of PC2400 nanya ram. The retailer rated it as CL2/CS2 well after looking at Nanya's website I see they they only sell PC 2100/PC2700.

So whats the problem? Well this memory is weird. Works on some PCs yet crashes others. So, basicially I was wondering if there was a way to undo the overclock that the retailer did?

Thanks,
Tac

Retailers usually don't program the spd. If for some reason this one did then you can't reprogram it yourself.

You might try manually setting the the memory timing in the bios to cas 2 or 2.5 rather than by spd if your bios allows memory timing adjustment.

cl2/cs2 is more of the secondary rating on memory.
2700 cl2 or 2700 cl2.5 or 2100 cl2 or 2100 cl2.5 is the way they are normally rated.
