W 98 Install

I am having trouble installing W 98 on the drive. After I run setup the machine goes to the Blue screen where it checks the disk etc. It stays here for a split second and goes back to an A prompt, refusing to install W 98.

It does this with multiple Startup disks. The drive has 2 partitions and C is active. Any ideas how to solve this.

I'd run a scandisk on your drive to make sure it's alright. Sounds like that could be part of the problem

It might also be your RAM. Clock it at CL3 rather than higher, and see if it'll install.

My guess would be the hd..
What kind and how old is your hd?

Scandisk solved the problem.
