by the way since my system is new.(no os yet installed).. should i flash bios b4 installing os? i have anohter pc.. and i can dl the flash files and store them on a floppy.. wat do u think?? ill be using win xp .. i have an extra bootable hd..
what steps should i do first?

If the machine boots up fine with the current bios it really doesn't matter...
