i have an epox 4sda board with a 1.8a

after recently adding some ram (kingmax DDR400) ive been having a few problems (i have since taken out the ram to try fix the problem, but still occurs)

im getting a BSOD from windows on boot saying "this bios is not ACPI compliant etc..." even though i know it is, and have flashed the latest bios just to make sure.
i dont think this is a ram problem, since its intermittent (boots fine sometimes), and happens with every combination of ram i have.
i reinstalled win2k to see if it fixed it, but the same problem occurs.
this boot my floppy drive is also not recognised

is my mobo screwed?
i have to diagnose it before taking it back as there is a fee if its not faulty

the problem occured both overclocked and at failsafe defaults
seems to be going ok now, and im taking this kingmax back, my system wouldnt even post with it in now...
