I have a machine with WinXP Pro, using IE 6. When I go to a java page such as that at www.statsman.org the java doesn't work.
I get a prompt to install and run Java virtual machine (whatever that is), but the M$ site that I get says, "We're sorry. Automatic installation of Microsoft Virtual Machine is no longer provided for Microsoft Windows XP."
I have tried reinstalling IE 6, no luck...
What is up?
