Idea for a water cooler...

I'm just at work and I had an idea when getting a drink of water. We have these cooler things for the water. You know the ones that have the big upside down bottles in them. I was just thinking that they would probably make pretty good coolers for water cooling systems.

They have this reservoir which is probably couple of litres, all you would need to do is make a lid with the inlet and outlet tubes though it. They are pretty well silent also.

Anybody done this or think it would be a good idea?

I used one of those coolers for several months.. it cooled nicely and eliminated the need for a radiator. I got the idea from an Aussie site where the guy was using one to cool his cpu.

Check out his projects..

Cool links, thanks for the info. And nice job.

BTW, how much was the cooler - did you get it second hand or what?
