Cutting LEDs on Clear Fans

Can you cut the LED out of the clear fans without stopping the fan? The blasted things flash! It's a little anoying.

If I cut out the LED do I have to connect the two ends together?

I don't see why he'd need to, but then you might be right.

Try removing the LEDs first, and if the fan won't run that way, either hook the wires together or replace the LED with a resistor.

twist the led till it pops off.. then solder the conveniantly twisted and connected wires (if you decide to connect them)
