Anyone want to help me figure out how to put a 92mm fan on an SLK-800?

Getting a larger fan on a smal block will be best solved by using a funnel mount like this one

this is a 80mm to 60mm funnel they go all the way up to 120mm the fan brackets are never the right size for your case to mobo and they don’t direct the air right to the heat sink it spreads it all around not very efficient

If you have it just sitting on the sink like you said, then this will not provide good airflow. Because with a 92mm fan, the dead spot, where no air is moved, is bigger than the prescribed 80mm.

However, because the slk800 has ridges, by placing a 92mm on top, there is probably sufficient space for the dead spot to be uneffective.

The fan adapter method won't work, at least not at stock. 120mm fan on top would be cool too. The problem is that the SLK-800, like the SLK-600, and the SK-6 holds the fan on with little wires, not screws.
