How im i doing

Hi Lads
Been off the overclocking gig for a couple of years and have just stated building one up check the sig.Right at the mo i have my duron at 174x7.5 and while happy with this i want to upgrade the cpu is a 1600xp going to be a good bet?The little Durons also a bit hot @ 45 and 51 underload the volcano is modded to full speed and case side is off is there something better to keep the proposed new cpu cool?I also want to upgrade my old mx to something more upto date but im on a budget have you any ideas.
My 3dmark result is 4300 is this about right, the crucial under sysandra gives 2127 mb/s is this ok?
Thanks lads
Any tips on bios setup would be good

ok, your kx7, good choice. xp1600 from newegg? good choice. if you are going air, i recomend you use the ax-7 heatsink and a monster fan...like a delta 68, or delta 80. if money is no object, the slk-800 is a bit better heatsink than the ax-7, but twice the price.

there are so many video cards out now, i won't try to recomend one til we find out what you intend to do with it. web surfing? gaming? or just simple obsessive 3dmark scores?

get the fastest ram available. if your ram can keep up, keep it, if not, get some corsair xms pc3200 cas 2.

what type of case do you use, and what type of fan arrangement do you have in that case?

feed us more info please....
