WC3 Price

i was wondering where you guys were buying warcraft III and how much you paid. i was planning to go out and get it today, called circuit city and best buy, both said $59.99. newegg has it for $33.99. huh?! i mean, this is the whole "i want it now and am willing to pay more" deal but that price difference is absurd. any other shops you guys know where i might be able to pick it up cheaper than $60?

there's a store in town called babbages (don't know if it's national or not). they only sell games, but i couldn't find their phone number. i think i might make a trip there to see.

man, it is friggin' hard! i mean, i'm no gaming guru, but i'm not even coming close to taking out 1 puter opponent with difficulty on normal. i'm too scared to even think about playing real life wonder-kids ready to demolish me, especially after that rant of yours Oni (the one in the 'gripes & moans' section about online gaming attitudes). hopefully a friend of mine will also get it this weekend, and i can get some practice in with him (he's much better at these style games than i am, so it'll be some good practice).

Just remember: the key to Warcraft 3 is Micro, Micro, MICRO!! Micro-manage your army well, and you'll do fine.

I can take out a comp 1v1 w/ relative ease. Just harass their peon line or something like that

The reason I paid so much for it is 'cause I'm Canadian. It just looks like I paid more, when in reality, I pro'lly paid as much as an American would.

Maybe I'm just cheap but I can't justify paying that much for a game. 50 bucks is about my limit.
