KT7A-RAID/ AMD 900mhz questions...

Hey, my specs are below. Question is this:

I've tried unlocking the CPU by connecting the L1 bridges using a mechanical #2 .5mm pencil. But when I go into SoftMenuIII, it lets me change the mulitplier fine, but when i boot up again at the boot screen it still reads 900Mhz. Am I unlocking it wrong? I read that I should try a regular #2 instead of a mechanical. Ideas? thanks!. it hardly matters as I',m getting an Athlon Xp 1800+ in a few days, but I'd figure I'd at least try to get as much out of it, hehe.

You need a better pencil or some conductive ink to ge it done.

Thanks for the advice! I went and grabbed an old wood pencil, re did the lines and voila! Now running an Amd 900Mhz @ 999. i got it up to 1045, but was a little unstable. gonna see how high ican get on core voltage first, but thanks for the hlpe guys!
