If you turn on something like DirectCD, you can drag & drop files into a share & it'll burn them across the network. Always a good idea to have Burnproof or Justlink for this.
This is good for backups, etc. I don't suggest it for regular burning though.
If you didn't mean that, and you meant to burn with remote files, you can, but usually the burner program will cache them locally first. (burnproof/justlink is always good to have when attempting this too)
I've seen files be burnt to a disc on another machine(using straight record, no DirectCD), BUT it was at 2x and even then, 75%+ of them resulted in buffer underruns, etc.... Not reliable.
