Anyway, in the time I had to play with the module, I managed to hit 215MHz FSB without any AGP tearing or even crashes (I played JK2 for a while), and all the timings were maxed out while the voltage remained at default 2.50V. Now that is one good RAM (he was using TwinMos) and one VERY good motherboard. Even though I didn't get a chance to do a complete test of the overclocking abilities of this board, from what I have seen it is maybe the best board for overlocking. As a comparison, the 8K5A2+ did 215MHz FSB w/o any problems or glitches, while the 8K3A+ only did 207MHz FSB.

My 8k5a2+ tears at 204. Maybe the later ones are better.

Is your board version specified?

Does it make any difference :
1. if you run only one stick of ram?
2. throttle back the ram memory settings?
3. throttle back the AGP settings?

I'm curious because the other review I cited mentioned that they were actually able to get up to 231FSB when just using one memory stick...an issue I've also seen addressed elsewhere at overclocker's.

I should be getting my board today
