I've seen where some other people use different dividers with their IT7, I'd like to know how. My only choices are 1:1 and 4:3. Thanks for any help.

I don't have the 3:4 option, really. Only 1:1 or 4:3, I will try that memory stripe thing though. Thanks.

Yes I do in fact have the 3:4. after setting stripe to low. Get this...

150fsb 1:1 will not boot

150fsb 4:3 stable

133fsb 3:4 stable

Even 1mhz over 133 at 1:1 will not boot. Maybe a 1:1 problem.
Lets try 150fsb and 3:4......and I thought I was confused earlier, wow.

Yes the divider is fixed. I'm now so confused that I'm almost ready to give up. After some playing around I can now run stable at 156fsb(2.8) with memory at 1:1. Sounds pretty good till I use SiSandra and get 2100mb for memory benchmark. Can anybody explain that? Memory should be running at 312mhz I believe. At 133fsb at 3:4 I get 2550 in SiSandra. My head hurts.

Well I have 1 512mb of Mushkin PC2700, 2.5-3-3-6. I've used everything from 2.5v up to 2.8v and it simply won't run at 333mhz or even close. My best scores are at 133fsb and 1:1. When I change the strap thing and use the 3:4 it works up to 156fsb but bandwidth blows, that confuses me. I sent the RMA request to newegg, I guess it's corsair time.

u need better ram .. get some corsair pc3200 xms c2 ..
that is wut im planning on getting .. i can run my ram right now at 194mhz which is like 149 / 198 or something like that .. hopefully when i get the corsair i can run at 210 or higher like alot of people have been able to

You said you where running at 156 FSB with the 3:4 divider am I right? Thats 212 FSB or 424DDR which is way over what its rated for which is pretty damn good. I know I can run my Cosair XMS 3200 Cas 2 at 220 at Cas 2 with 2.8 volts on mem. Get about 3400MBs for mem score. I run at round 214 right now so its cooler in the case but after a week at running at 150 CPU at 1.75 Volts I could crank this sucker up to 166 FSB at 1.75 stable. But now since my cooling is going internal today its going down too 1.65 volts at 160FSB with 214 mem.

Hey thanks for all the responses. Just to clarify, because this post is a work in progress, I figured out how to get 3:4, and I can run 156fsb with 3:4. Here is the problem: 2100mb score on the SiSandra memory benchmark. I can't figure this out. Now why can I run at 3:4 but if I try 1:1, which is less aggressive, I can't even boot?

WOW, I'm such and impatient idiot. If anybody is still actually reading this thread, here are some SUCCESSFUL results.

150fsb 1.6vcore

Mushkin 512mb PC2700@400mhz
3:4 div. 2.5-3-3-7
2.6vdramm

I guess this ram aint as crappy as I thought. What fixed everything was the 2.5-3-3-7 setting. I'm now getting 3000mb in SiSandra. I do think this Ram is probably at its limit, gonna run for awhile then maybe try more aggressive memory settings with some more juice. Thanks to everybody for all the help, I love this site already.

It all depends on your RAM at this point. If you have an average PC2700 module, chances are you wont go over 133fsb. In other words, you were lucky to hit 177fsb at 133fsb 3:4.

I got Corsair XMS PC3000 and I am running it at 150fsb with 3:4 ratio for a total of DDR400 ((150 / 3) *4 * 2 --double data rate) with 2.5-6-2-2 settings

Well, I got this thing whipped!!! Here's the final results, I'm sorta shocked at how well this RAM did.

155fsb 3:4 mem. divider
Memory at 412mhz!!!
1.65vcore and 2.8vdramm

Had to set the memory to 2.5-3-3-7. Everything is rock solid, now I get 3000mb in SiSandra memory. Temps at load hover around 50c, 40c idle.

Mcenters,

I have a 1.8a and a 2.26 chip. The 2.26 runs hotter compared to the 1.8 at stock speed and stock voltage. I think that maybe it has something to do with the hyperthreading perhaps. I have also noticed system temperatures are higher with the 2.26 chip. This is comparing just the chips, the same HSF with the same motherboard and memory using AS3. I am wondering if anyone else has noticed that the (B) chips run a little hotter then their 100mhz fsb cousins?

Mushkin is usually good stuff. I got my PC3000 256 mb stick to 420 something before I stuck 256 mb of samsung PC2100 ctl in. The samsung would run a little above DDR400, but the two togather just won't do DDR400.

My scores for mem on the PCMark test are higher at 1:1 (w/ higher overall overclock), but the Sandra bandwidth isn't as high. Which is better, the PCMark mem score or the sandra bandwith score and why?
