whoa, that looks pretty neat! i would like to see how it performs. doesn't look like the ram is benifiting from any of the cooling.

i know, i wish they would have somehow extended the heatsink to the memory chips or something. i hope they use this type of design on the nv30's when they come out, that will tilt me back in nvidias direction if they are faster than the ati 10000 when it comes out.
because i'll tell ya what all this heat stuff is getting on my nerves. what ever happened to the good old days of no heat issues with the 266 mhz procesors and stuff.

edit:
-ps YOU SIG IS SOOOO TRUE!
lol!
heheheeee

I saw that a few days ago while pricing Newegg's Ti4200s. It does look pretty nice and seems to fit well with Abit's new mobos that leave out that 1st PCI slot.

Is it possible to have a mod move all the post about this together. After all this is the fourth time someone has posted about it. The other three are in the Video and Sound card forum.

I would be more interested in seeing that design in a more advanced card. like a gainward 4600 or something.
I wonder how it performs....

I dunno how good it is, but there is already a second version in the works even though this one is only a few weeks old.

it wouldnt be that hard you could even do it with an 80 mm slim fan. all it takes is some acrylic a small torch and some skill and your set you will still loose the first pci slot but you can probably get it even cooler
