How do you properly seat DDR ram?

It seems harder than putting in SDRAM and i will be rebuilding my new system with DDR. If it seems that the memory is not fully seated, should you push more to fully seat the memory? I have never used DDR before, but i thought it would be like Sdram, but its not.

Sorry for the newbie-ish question

Well if its in the right way it should pop in, depeneding on the brand and the mobo, Some Sticks go in easy and some are pretty hard. Just make sure you apply right pressure, and Support yourself so you dont slip and crack the memory. usualy you can pop one side in first, and then the other.

Make sure you have the notches lined up correctly and then just snap it. The clips should be all the way up as well.
