I don't see it in any of the bios update descriptions.

The Intel 845E chipset doesn't support AGP8x.

Shouldn't. Maybe slightly only.

An AGP4x card when run on AGP2x, the performance drop is not much.

people are mystified by agp 8x, oooh i want it, 8x8x8x8x8x. the performance increase over 4x is so minimal you won't be able to tell the difference in any games you play right now.

now in a few months to a year, the difference will be more noticeable. but basically i'm saying until agp 8x motherboards and cards that support it are actually working, you shouldn't worry about it.

Glad to see people still fall for marketing crap

AGP8x is going to do just as much as going from ATA100 to ATA133 on HDD did for you......sweet bugger all...

AGP 8x Support

Surely this board doesn't support AGP 8x, depending on your chipset..

By the time AGP 8x is necessary, AGP will be obsolete.
