I was capturing on TV when all of a sudden, the prog crashed. It was 99.9% done when it crashed. The file is still there and I can play it, but the problem is that I can't skip to certain bits etc. I think this was cause by the fact that it hadn't finish capturing and the index wasn't built, therefore it doesnt allow skipping/fast forwarding etc.

Is it possible to re-index it? Does anyone know of a prog that can do that?

wmv, but i can convert it to anything. It's not very nice having to watch something that is over 2hrs and not having the ability to jump to certain bits ie if you're interrupted and you need to resume but you can't and have to watch it all from the start...

there MUST be a tool that can re-index a file....
