I just gone done ordering parts and i am VERY excited. As i understand it, all the 2.8s are C1s. Here's what i've got:

Enermax 350 watt psu, Abit IT7-Max2, Corsair P3500 CL2 512 mb, Northwoody 2.8, innovatek water cooling kit with the rev 3.0 socket 478 block, and also a waterblock for the northbridge chipset (also some arctic silver 3).

Is this going to go 3.6 ghz? If so, will that require doing the vid pin mod to hit 1.85 volts?

Anybody out there with a 2.8 want to share their results?

Just got mine today, and with stock cpu cooling and 4 case fans (although I have only needed 2 on so far) it boots straight away to 3300Mhz at 1.6v.
PC2700 at 2.7v.

temps are low...... 28 at idle and 38 at full load with both case fan on....

with water cooling and volt mods I am sure you will go far..... :)

trying for higher tomorrow...... lets see what it will do on air cooling.

Simon.

keep us posted as to your efforts.....
