8k3a+ onboard sound prob(can't get the 6 channels)

well in the manual it shows the software for it pg.(drivers Installation 5-3) (so i installed the software looks the same sorta)
but i only get 3 tabs on top
Sound effects equalizer and general

in the manual it shows a speaker configuration tab allows u to change mic port to rear speakers out and the other 1 to center/sub.
but i don't have this tab... so i am stumped

anyone know how to fix this?

Hmmm maybe try reinstalling software, mine shows the thing your mentionning.

You probably already checked this, but what revison motherboard do you have? If you have Rev 1.0 that is your problem. Only revs. 1.1 -1.3 have 6 channel sound.
