Question about current temps...

Just got my P4 1.6 going. Mainboard Monitor 5, Hmonitor, and SiSoft all say my mainboard temp is 70C. Huh? Had it oc'd to 2.01 very easily and proc temps never got above 40C at idle. Whats up with the mainboard temp? It reads this high whether its oc'd or not and varies only a slight amount between full load and no load. The pic is with no oc applied. What should I do about this? Thanks for the help.

SiSoft Sandra doesn't read temps right for me either.

Is the temp of the air in the room higher than the last time when you had 40?

Yes. The room temperature never changes more than 2 to 4 degrees. But even last night, when I turned the air off and left the windows open, it got pretty chilly in here. cpu reads 28c right now (11am) and thats with it folding 24/7. Mainboard temp still reads 73c. I would just really hate to mess this system up since I just now got it running.
