Wierd prices, XP1600 vs Morgan 1.3

Anybody else noticed, there's a lot of places listing 1.3 Duron morgans higher than they list XP1600s, wierd huh?

Is there any real reason for that? .... d'ya think they're just getting more volume for XP1600s and better wholesale or sumpink?

yeh i think its amd wholesale pricing.i do belive soon the durons will be killed off and the palominos will be there replacement.for a while anyhow.durons are a dying line.same price as xp's that are faster and alot slower than a celery.

They stopped making the durons somewhere around when the Tbred was released, so its simple supply and demand. There is no supply and there is still a demand (noobs)... have you seen the prices for AMD K6-2 CPUs at some places or P4 williamettes? If you look around enough you should be able to find a place that sells them at a better price though.
