Random shutdowns

With my 2100+ @(1.75v) 13x140 ~ 182? my computer runs at 100 idle and never over 110 (f) under load. Just last night i tried to put 1.775, and 1.8 volts thru it and the cpu temps were 107-112 (in bios) but as soon as i began to run 3dmark with 13x143 the computer would suddenly restart.
CPU 2100+ palimo
Mobo- MSI KT3-Ultra 2
Ram -256 DDR333 w/ heatspreader (1 chip)
HSf- $20 100% copper and 60mm 25CFM fan (rated at 2ghz for athlon, not 2000+) from compusa after my finger got thru the grill on my Volcano 9

Same thing happens to me IF I can pass the bluescreen I usually get at the windows loading screen!! I feel your pain of the "evil random shutdown" just remember, your not the only one.

i get a lot of random shutdowns, but i figured out mine was from my PSU, so i'm getting a new one in a few days..

What likely happens is when the computer's using a lot of power, and certain components demand a lot of power suddenly, it causes a spike, and it disrupts everything the motherboard's been doing... i dunno if every problem can be solved by a better PSU, i can't be certain... your problems might be in your mobo or some other component... u just have to find out which....

random shutdows are often caused by defective Power Supply or the PSu cannot supply the total power consumed by your system ( happens during games or running cpu intensive apps )... a power supply of 350W or higher is better specially if you have 2 or more HDD's, CD-RW and lots of Fans... 7200rpm HDD's are power hungry devices which takes a lot of power from your PSU..... a 300W PSU wont handle such system that i have mentioned...
