Adobe Premier 5.1 and SMP

Does anyone know if v5.1 supports SMP? I know someone that's running v6.0 and says it supports SMP, but I haven't found anything to confirm that yet.

I would be very surprised if it didn't. Adobe programs almost all of their software with SMP capability. Photoshop has had it for years. To my knowledge, Premiere is also multithreaded.

You could call Adobe and ask them to be sure. I called them about a year ago with a similar question and they were pretty helpful.

I sure hope it is. One of the main reasons i got a duallie, is because i wanted to do some massive video editing, and i sure hope these nice adobe apps, are multithreaded.
