If its win98 you stick in your start up disk(floppy) and then fdisk after it goes through everything! Then you can formatt it and that! And if you don't want to activate you copy of windows burn it in a fire and get linux!

To create a Dos-Boot disk you just:

1. Go into Windows Explorer
2. Put a blank disk in the drive
3. Right click on A:
4. Choose Format
5. Then there should be an option to create a start up disk

This one is from the Windoz site...

Click Start
Point to Settings and click Control Panel
Click Add/Remove Programs
Click the Startup Disk tab
Click the Create Disk button
When finished, click OK to exit the Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box

This however is not the best start up, give me a few minutes and I will see if I can find you some linkage...
